Now more then ever is the time to educate about caring for our Mother Ocean.
This workshop is designed to be a fun and creative way to teach children about some of the big challenges our oceans face.
We are collaborating with Kate Akkerman, a local Marine Scientist/Conservationist who will be sharing her love for the ocean and simple ways to protect it.
Throughout the workshop your child will learn:
-some easy solutions to fight plastic pollution
- how we can reuse and recycle plastic
- how to create a collaborative art piece using plastic bottle caps.
At the end of the session we will have a large beautiful art piece that will be displayed in the local community as a reminder to care for our beautiful oceans.
